Reel Field structures charters this way for severalreasons:

1- Anglers are to and from Westbrook, CT in the daylight.

2- There is only need for one overnight stay.

3- Anglers can benefit from two days possession limits.

4- Finally, Anglersare only on the water for 4-1/2 hours at a time AND tomorrow can bring new weather conditions.

*UPDATED FOR 2024: Rate includes: use of rods and reels, up to two live bait rigs per angle, one (1) dozen live eels per group (if needed), and fish cleaning services.

*NEW FOR 2024: due to the increase in cost of materials anglers will be responsible for the cost of live-bait rigs in excess of two (2). Additional live-bait rigs can be purchased for $12 per rig.  If additional eels are required or requested the angler will be responsible for the cost at current market price (i.e. the 2023 market cost was $42 / dozen).  The angler is responsible for replacement costs of lost, damaged, or broken gear due to negligence.

*$250 deposit is required to reserve your day on the water.

Reel Efishient (24ft T-Craft Gulfstream CC) does have onboard bathromm facilities.

Cancellations & Reschedules:  Cancellations must be made three weeks prior to your departure; otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. The cancellation of a fishing charter due to severe weather is the captain's decision. In the event of cancellation your charter will rescheduled for a later date.

Proficiency in general fishing will increase your proboility in catching Striped Bass in the manner Reel Field Charters targets them, which in drifting live bait over shoals, ledges, and rock piles..

Reel Field Charters books 7 days/week.  Weekend fishing, due to increased boat traffic, can be restricted and more difficult.  Week daysgive anglers the best

If you are prone to SEASICKNESS and plan on medicating for it during your charter please start the medication regiment 24-36 hours before your charter.  

Check with your Physician before taking any medications for motion sickness.
